  • How do I activate my eSIM?

    After purchasing an eSIM plan from SimplySIM, you'll receive an email with a QR code. On your device, go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Add Data Plan, then scan the QR code with your device's camera. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.   • Can I use my physical SIM and eSIM simultaneously?

    Yes, one of the main benefits of eSIM technology is that you can have both your physical SIM and an eSIM active at the same time (dual SIM). This allows you to keep your regular phone number active for calls and texts via your physical SIM while using data through your SimplySIM eSIM when traveling abroad.

  • When does my eSIM plan start?

    Your SimplySIM eSIM plan begins when you first connect to a network using the eSIM, not when you purchase it. This means you can buy it in advance of your trip and activate it only when you need it. Once activated, your plan will be valid for the specified duration (7 days, 14 days, 30 days, etc.).

  • What happens when my data runs out?

    When you've used all the data included in your plan, your data service will stop working. You can purchase additional data through your SimplySIM account dashboard at any time. Some plans also offer the option to continue using data at reduced speeds after your high-speed data allocation is used up.

  • Can I top up my eSIM?

    Yes, most SimplySIM eSIM plans can be topped up with additional data if you need more during your trip. Simply log in to your SimplySIM account, navigate to your active eSIMs, and select the top-up option. The additional data will be available immediately after purchase.

  • Can I use my eSIM in multiple countries?

    SimplySIM offers both single-country and regional/global eSIMs. Regional plans work across multiple countries in a specific region (e.g., Europe, Asia), while global plans work in most countries worldwide. Check the specific coverage details for each plan before purchasing to ensure it covers all the countries you plan to visit.

  • What happens if I have technical issues with my eSIM?

  • Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?

    eSIMs are linked to the specific device they're installed on and cannot be transferred between devices. If you get a new device and want to move your eSIM plan, you'll need to contact our customer support team who can help you deactivate your current eSIM and provide a new one for your new device (additional charges may apply).
